Tablescapes We're Thankful to Have Come Across
These designers set the table—and the tone—for gatherings that feel like home
At the heart of every home is a table. It’s where mornings begin and evenings linger, where stories unfold over meals and memories are layered like linens passed down through generations. The dining space—no matter its shape or style—is a stage for connection: a place where beauty, light, and belonging come together.
As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re celebrating dining rooms that do more than host a meal—they hold a mood. Created by some of our favorite designers, these rooms show how thoughtful design can make every moment feel intentional, and every gathering feel a little more memorable.

Rinehardt Miller’s dining area captures this spirit with a balance of form and function. Co-founder Marvin Miller envisioned “something more special and curated, rather than the typical or utilitarian type of room you might expect.” The design invites gathering in every sense—a 14-foot custom-made banquette, lacquered bookcases, and a newly functional fireplace set the mood for long, lingering meals. Our Parkland® Wood Blinds provide both warmth and control, blending seamlessly with the room’s palette while offering what Miller calls “the ultimate in privacy and light control options.” It’s a space designed for conversation and comfort.
In Los Angeles, the designers at Pierce & Ward weave pattern, texture, and color into a space that feels both storied and fresh. “There were a few design interventions from renovations done 20 or 30 years ago that we wanted to keep,” says Emily Ward. “The challenge was making those elements feel cohesive with the rest of the home…” The result is collected and comfortably lived-in, the perfect backdrop for gathering.
“We want people to feel as though the space has been that way forever—timeless, familiar, and comfortable—yet still fresh and functional.” - Emily Ward

In Bedford, New York, designer Eddie Lee brings warmth and continuity to a family’s gathering place. His “idea of an English country house that’s been passed down” inspired a rich mix of antique and vintage pieces, grounded by materials that glow in the light. Our Provenance® Woven Wood Shades soften that light and harmonize with the grasscloth walls—a cozy space for laughter, meals, and long weekends.
Austin-based designer Kim Lewis creates the ultimate modern gathering space—open, warm, and deeply rooted in its surroundings. “The architecture of this home is all about that connection to outside nature,” she says. To celebrate it, she turned to our Luminette® Privacy Sheers. “We’re not closing off the treetops to our breakfast moments—we want that light to come in, but still give us privacy when we need it.” The sheer fabric casts a soft glow across the sculptural dining table, while floor-to-ceiling velvet drapery adds a cozy, boutique-hotel feel. Equal parts Austin soul and quiet sophistication, it’s a room made for celebration.
For Parker Bowie Larson, the dining table is both aesthetic and emotional ground. “I love mixing traditional and modern in my décor,” she says. In her New York home, inherited Gracie wallpaper pairs beautifully with our Duette® Honeycomb Shades that frame, rather than hide, the intricate design. “It was the perfect way to marry function with elegance,” she notes. “Plus, they’re energy efficient.”
Her favorite moments come just before guests arrive: “There’s nothing more magical than setting the table when I’m about to entertain and seeing the warm glow coming through the honeycomb shades in the evening. It’s beautiful and really adds to the space.”
New Jersey-based designer Kerri Pilchik rounds out our list with a refined take on comfort and color. Known for her artful balance of pattern and calm, she layered expressive hues with understated neutrals to ground the dining space in this East Side apartment. Her approach to window treatments reflects that duality—simple, timeless pieces that frame her vibrant rooms without distraction. It’s a space that welcomes, soothes, and invites you to stay a while.
Each of these spaces offers more than just good design—they’re full of meaning and made to feel like home. Wishing you a warm and happy Thanksgiving, from our home to yours.
